Sensory Journey

Think of the different chapters of the story of the Eagle Child an take someone on a sensory journey. One group may focus on animals and trees, another on water, air , sun and so on. Each group will think of what they can do to get the feeling of the element they have been assigned using all the senses but sight. They will take someone into the group blindfolded and make them feel the element. For example, for water, a group could have the blindfolded person hear the sound of the waves, feel the sprinkle of water on the skin, taste the good water, hear the sounds of the dolphins, smell the seaweed, feel sea shells andl listen to the sound of a shell. Use found objects from home and be imaginative.
